Beaver trail
A kilometre out to beaver dams and the observation points above them. The shortest trail at Oandu and the only one you need not plan a day around — it fits between breakfast and lunch, and with children it is usually the first one anybody walks.
Beavers are nocturnal. The dams, the gnawed trunks and the flooded forest behind them are there at any hour, and those are what the trail is for.
