Forest House
In the house
- For four, 2 bedrooms
- Fireplace, mini kitchen, WC and shower
Built the old way: solid walls of thick, heavy logs, the timber from Estonian forest. There is no drywall in this house.
The Forest House stands among tall spruce at the edge of the lawn. Two bedrooms, a fireplace, a mini kitchen, a WC and a shower. In the living room a buttoned sofa under sheepskins, a checked rug and a hanging chair at the window; in the bedroom, between log walls, a lit bull’s head above the bed.
It is for four and suits a family or two couples: two separate bedrooms, a fireplace of its own and forest outside the window. The house is rented whole.
The sauna is in the Sauna House only and is not included with this house — write to us if you would like to use it. The Forest House closes for the winter, from 1 December to 31 March; the first night of the new season is 1 April. The trails start from the village, the manors of Palmse, Sagadi and Vihula and the coast at Altja are a short drive away, and Tallinn is about 90 kilometres.
